I was heading to the airport on the toll road and got pulled over.
It was a white ghost car, the ones with writing on the sides that you cant see.
I did all the right things. Window down, seat belt already on, hands on steering wheel etc.
The officer came up and asked if there was an emergency to which I replied "no". I had miss read my ticket information and instead of being 2 hours early, I had less than an hour to catch my flight. (which was true) I was doing 85 in a 70. It was the toll road and there wasnt another car in sight.
He asked for my license and registration at which point I handed him my license, insurance and CHL. He glanced the CHL and handed it back to me stating he didnt need that.
He quickly wrote me a ticket and I was on my way. (made my plane by 10 minutes)
He was EXTREMELY nice and professional. The whole thing took less than 10 minutes.
I went to court to ask for defered adjudication which I received for an extra $50.
The City Attorney chuckled and I asked what was funny. He said you got pulled over by the Assistant Chief of Police!
All in all a good experience. I got a ticket which stunk but I was doing 85! I would have given me a ticket too!

Re: Pflugerville
Glad it worked out OK for you, except for the ticket. Maybe on those toll roads they should raise the limit a bit.
