Shavano Park

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

I understand your statement. I am a cop and insurance information is not always readily available for every driver.

Just a thought....Years ago we had a suburban stolen, the deputy who came to write the report asked about our insurance card. When we told him it was in the glove box, he stated the BG's will give you time to get a new vehicle and then come to your house (address on the insurance card). 2 weeks after we get the new suburban, it was broken into in the middle of the night. A kill switch kept it in the driveway. From then on I have kept my insurance card in my wallet near my DL and CHL.

That is a great idea so long as no one else drives your car or that all drivers keep a copy with the insurance card as well.

That's what we do.
