MI:Cops buy doughnut shop

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

MI:Cops buy doughnut shop

#1

Post by seamusTX »

Clare, Michigan (dead center of the middle of nowhere): When a century-old bakery was about to close its doors, a group of police officers ponied up the money to buy it. It will continue to operate as "Cops & Doughnuts."

Few years ago I read there was a donut shop in Dallas owned by a couple cops up there. Don't know if it is still in operation tho...

:iagree:
On one hand you'd think they'd find another place to rob, but they are criminals and as things deteriorate, they become more rash.

I read a report about a robber who walked past a sheriff deputy's car that was parked right outside the door of a doughnut shop and tried to rob it. With a knife, IIRC. There really isn't a word for that kind of dumb.
