I've got two built right now one that's strictly running on a 9v battery and another that'll run on a battery as well as a 9v power supply (same as you'd use for a guitar pedal). They are both super basic and rely on the instrument for volume control. Hit me up if there's any interest.
Thanks.
Just a little wood box i found. Breadboarded a simple distortion circuit powered by a 9v battery. A small 2 inch speaker. Works fairly decently. Now I ha e a 50 cal ammo can that I cut two speaker holes in and now working on the electronics for a bass amp.
Whoops, I thought I posted it. Anyway $35 each.
This is how my first one turned out using parts from an old 70's or 80's Realistic alarm clock radio that I picked up from the Salvation Army. The Board I put together using some of those parts. The enclosure is the box from a Sprint wifi hotspot.Syntyr wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 11:52 pmJust a little wood box i found. Breadboarded a simple distortion circuit powered by a 9v battery. My current obsession/project is I am trying to figure out how to construct a travel guitar where the fretboard is composed of hollow sections that can retract into the body of the guitar in order to travel. I have a tension bar mechanism prototypesd for the strings. Just trying to figure out the guitar neck.
Don't judge my soldering skills...![]()

Throw a piezo pickup in the Taylor.Grayling813 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 8:53 am Nice. Would be interested except I no longer have any electric guitars and my Taylor is acoustic only.
