I think it should apply to any federal laws that are not also found in Texas law. Until the Supreme Court overturns the activist judges ruling Texas can't enact or enforce immigration laws, it's only fair to not enforce any Federal laws.

Change the wording for NFA items making them legal without the unconstitutional tax and the the local governments can't help the feds take them away. In a week there would be so many machine guns the federal government couldn't even think about coming to take them.
I see this as preemptive for the up coming onslaught of magazine bans and "assault" weapon bans that will be coming from the US House of Non Representatives.

In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

I'm less sanguine. They're thinking about taking away semiautomatic weapons right now. If they outlaw something, they denormalize it. Over the course of two or three generations, most will be turned in.
