The Democratic legislation, cosponsored by Rep. Ted Deutch of Florida and Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey, would ban any magazine that exceeds 10 rounds of ammunition. The legislation, which has been dubbed the "Keep Americans Safe Act," currently has no Republican cosponsors, one of many obstacles that would stand in the way of it advancing.
Every time I see arguments about restricting magazine capacity because, obviously it would save lives because it takes like, what, a couple of minutes to shove boollits into that clip-thingy, I think of this short video of Travis Tomasie from 2006:

Seems like they want to ban standard capacity magazines.
I wonder how many rounds their private security guards have in their weapons?

Preventing mass shootings by reducing magazine capacity is like preventing drunk driving by reducing the capacity of the gas tank.

Chief Acevedo should show his sincerity by banning those magazines for his employees.

Will the hired guns enforcing the law be limited to ten round magazines? If not, that's an easy source to get more.
