The babying of the next generation!
According to this "study", 1 out every 4 students developed PTSD when Trump won the election.

From all the crying and protest after the election I thought that number would be a lot higher.

The weak are only tolerated insofar as resources permit. Often that has awful consequences, as in the many parts of the world where "hard times" means "My family and I may starve." Other times, it requires a generation to grow a spine.

The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps all have long-term programs (2 - 6 years) that will help them work through those PTSD issues.
Which ever one you sign up for will provide free meals, clothing, money, and housing. Lots of group activities will be included, as well.

Re: The babying of the next generation!
We just did a "Partners Day" at Ft Hood where we brought in over 100 corporate, educational, civic, and local political leaders from Dallas to San Antonio (I-35 corridor) and let them interact with young Soldiers who demonstrated some of the training, skills, and equipment they do on a daily basis. The overwhelming reaction from this group of civilian leaders was that they could not believe how self-assured and mature these average age 20 year old Soldiers and 25-26 year old junior NCOs were compared to what they see on college campuses and in society in general. Unfortunately, far too many of today's young people cannot qualify for the military due to overweight, poor physical fitness, or a variety of medical issues.

So a study by academic people on a very limited subset of other academic people (psychology students) has any merit?
Who was that last academic person with psychology degree in the news making unfounded allegations? Paging “Dr” Ford!
The progressive socialist indoctrination system has ruined multiple generations of America’s youth.

The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

Those kids who say they're suffering from PTSD from an unexpected election result have never experienced real traumatic stress, like surviving a firefight or the blast of a IED, suffering a concussion or perhaps losing a limb or two. I haven't, either, but I don't claim PTSD. Drama Queens.

Re: The babying of the next generation!
I've never been in actual combat, but I've sent countless 155mm artillery rounds down range (traumatic brain injury) and conducted many Emergency Action launch countdown drills of live nuclear missles in Germany, aimed at targets in the Warsaw Pact countries. I've had to air lift a gravely ill soldier out of a firing point and lost soldiers in training accidents. Tinnitus, TBI, 70% disabled; many good memories, some bad memories, but no PTSD.E10 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 11:24 am Those kids who say they're suffering from PTSD from an unexpected election result have never experienced real traumatic stress, like surviving a firefight or the blast of a IED, suffering a concussion or perhaps losing a limb or two. PTSD -- "You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means" (Inigo Montoya, "The Princss Bride", 1987). "Bah! Humbug!" (Ebenezer Scrooge, "A Christmas Carol", 1843).

So of that 1 in 4 group. 71% of them could not take advantage of your suggested remedy even if they choose to do so.According to 2017 Pentagon data, 71 percent of young Americans between 17 and 24 are ineligible to serve in the United States military. Put another way: Over 24 million of the 34 million people of that age group cannot join the armed forces—even if they wanted to.
