There is seemingly no end to the extent to which anti-gun people and groups will lie about guns and gun owners. Post links to articles by these masters of prevarication here.
The Second Amendment needs to be repealed because it is outdated, a threat to liberty and a suicide pact. When the Second Amendment was adopted in 1791, there were no weapons remotely like the AR-15 assault rifle and many of the advances of modern weaponry were long from being invented or popularized.
The liberty of some to own guns cannot take precedence over the liberty of everyone to live their lives free from the risk of being easily murdered. It has for too long, and we must now say no more.
The Second Amendment must be repealed, and it is the essence of American democracy to say so.
At the sunset of BO's reign, we will see things spiral out of control even more then we've ever imagined.
These people like this "constitutional" professor, Jeh Johnson, Valerie Jarrett, ACLU gang and their ilk will go full steam ahead now.
Their operatives have been turned on, we are getting literally flooded with illegals, our Country is turning into Tower of Babel, culture decimated, and the biggest obstacle is the 2A.
I came from civil war and I don't want to go back to it but my friends things are only going to get worse.
We are witnessing slow dance of death in the West, at the end of the sex/drugs/rock n' roll ark.
Things will get worse, much worse. Pray that Trump wins, we are headed for civil war otherwise. And I pray that I am wrong.

I have no words.
I do. FOOLS
Okay, just one, but it's a good one.

Bring it on, I cannot wait to fight for the Free States of America... or just have Texas secede and then I can patrol the Red or Sabine rivers.
I'm gonna need more ammo. Have the prices gone sky high yet?

Really? You can't wait to start killing your countrymen, and for some of your friends and family to die in the fighting? You can't wait for the inevitable food, water, and medicinal shortages which would result from the chaos of a civil war?
A 2nd civil war would be disastrous; worse than almost anything else I can think of.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

This is the kind of comment that makes us all look like radical nutjobs. It definitely doesn't advance our cause by changing hearts and minds. It leads to further divisiveness and animosity and that is not what we need.

If you have any friends that are Antis send them this video. It will explain why we have the 2nd and it has nothing to do with hunting!!!
It is call 'Innocence Betrayed' and is an hour long. I had my family watch (and they support my views) just to educate them and knowing there is no way my daughter will ever see this shown by here 'left leaning' school district.
Look at what this country and primarily the politicians do and try to do to us with the 2nd, I would really hate to see what they would try to do to us WITHOUT it.
It is not nuttery to support secession. It is, however, a very adult topic requiring consideration and a proper frame of reference. For the best source of perspective on the matter of overthrowing a lawful government, I recommend the Declaration of Independence. We are not there. We might be on that path, but we aren't there. We might never get there if the growing majority of our countrymen successfully criminalize what the Second Amendment stands for, which, of course, has implications far beyond firearms. Secession is not an answer to a government following its rules in a way we don't like.
Repealing the Second Amendment, if lawfully done, would never be grounds for secession. Moving, perhaps, but not armed insurrection. Acts of tyranny without due process against the general public by the government at large would be a much better case.
If big-government nanny types were truly interested in shutting down talk of secession, they would do so by working for legitimacy in our government, willfully and measurably stopped in its tracks by the boundaries of law.
But that's just me, cheering the legacy of seditious and treasonous colonists.
On the other hand, opposition to the Second Amendment is on a roll. Our detractors can ignore the adult, mature parts of the argument, call us death-mongers and nuts, accelerating progress toward whatever pyrrhic, socialistic triumph they have in mind.
I admit it. My zeal for government based on sound, loving, caring philosophy - in other words, government bound by the chains of the Constitution - makes my arguments meaningless. The power and diversity of newspeak somehow doesn't allow room for me in the debate.
