It’s sad to note that only Springer (author), Buckingham and Kolkhorst are listed as sponsors.

There are 18 Republican senators only 3 of them are sponsors. The other 15 are silent. Those are your RINOs.

Springer is my senator, so guess I need to focus on Patrick bringing it up for a vote

Absolute bull and some RINO democrats need to be voted out. And we need to figure out how to get 20 plus seats in the Senate.

My Senator, Paxton just announced her support for HB 1927. More are adding themselves to the list. I suspect that pressure will start to mount on the fence sitters.

Good! My senator is Kolkhorst and she is a cosponsor but I called and email a message of support regardless.

We need to get this to a vote. Let the chips fall, but we need to know where our reps are on these issues.

I was wondering if we should send her an email thanking her for supporting our 2nd amendment rights. Maybe some incentive for her to maintain her stance on this issue.

Just saw this link of Senators not voicing support at this time. If any of you live in their districts, let them know where you stand.

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, who leads the Texas Senate, famously stated there are not enough votes for Constitutional Carry HB 1927 in the Texas Senate.

Of course, the buck stops with him and he alone should be held responsible if Constitutional Carry isn't taken up for a vote on the Texas Senate floor.

But if you are left wondering which Republican State Senators have NOT taken a public position on Constitutional Carry HB 1927, here they are:

SD 3 - Robert Nichols (512) 463-0103
SD 5 - Charles Schwertner (512) 463-0105
SD 7 - Paul Bettencourt (512) 463-0107
SD 11 - Larry Taylor (512) 463-0111
SD 12 - Jane Nelson (512) 463-0112
SD 17 - Joan Huffman (512) 463-0117
SD 25 - Donna Campbell (512) 463-0125
SD 31 - Kel Seliger "unsure" (512) 463-0131
Not sure who represents you? Look up your State Senator here https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home

Sad to say my guy is on the list. SD11. I've emailed suggesting this is a make or break issue and hoping he gives his support to retain mine.

Good idea. I sent mine a thank you note.

It is just as important that we encourage our reps/senators for good votes, as well as call them out for the bad ones. If we ONLY criticize, they eventually just don't want to listen to us. Be polite, be civil, but be honest. I have a good working relationship with my rep and senator.

Well good. I thought in the beginning that Patrick probably said that to put pressure on the other senators to sign on, or at least show them there is support for the bill if they were being cagey.
