Homeowners, including one armed with an AR-15, fight back against burglars in three Mercer County cases
All in Mercer County West Virginia:
- Suspect breaks into enclosed porch, is chased down and held by occupants until police arrive
- Intruding woman armed with a hand weight and a wood clamp is confronted by homeowner bearing an AR-15. I dunno why the homeowner didn't just shoot her, but he ended up hitting her with an axe handle until she backed off.
- Homeowner woke up and found a burglar in his living room, held him at gunpoint until police arrived.
ETA: Originally I had Indiana on the brain and put it in the wrong state. Apparently this was in WVA.
