Man shot and killed during Dothan church burglary
Title says "burglary." Was actually a robbery and a burglary.

New York Woman Raped by Five Men After Leaving Church
Not pleasant to read. Note she told assailants she was HIV positive to try to get them to leave her alone. I'll bet some anti-gun types told her to do that to fend off rapists.

Just another example of how gun laws only disarm the law abiding. :banghead:

After the Wegewood Church shooting in Ft Worth I have never gone to church witbout my pistol, I know a cop that was there during that incident and he said had he been armed, ashbrook wouldn't have been able to do the damage he did.

I know only about 6% of the total population of Texas is licensed to carry, but at least 30% of my church is. I wouldn't recommend trying anything particularly unfriendly in my church.

There are several CHL's in our church. We're not there every Sunday but when we are, there is at least one armed congregant in the dwindling audience.

Playing bass, I have an unobstructed view of the front door every Sunday, believe it or not I even practiced drawing CC with my bass, hanging in front of me. From my slightly elevated position, I can at least engage any potential threat.

Could never get it to tune properly, and the pickups interfered with the tactical reloads.
