Home Invader Incarcerated After Female Victim Gets The Better of Him

Do go to the link (Kingsport police blog) and read the whole thing. Not much went right for this would-be kidnapper?/robber/homeinvader, happily.

Good for her. I'm sure it's sad having to deal with that from a "longtime family friend". I assume that if she had a gun he'd have been dead before she removed his mask and identified him. This man had a handgun on him, so he clearly had prepared himself to do harm. He should be locked up for a long time, and she should upgrade her home defense weapon from a baseball bat to a firearm.

This happened in the same county back in East Tennessee where I grew up (closer to Canada than to Memphis).
