LTC or not, the man was right to not pursue the kid once he was outside.
He had successfully prevented the kid's imminent commission of aggravated robbery, so his justification for the use of deadly force ended when the kid went out the door.

If it wasn't for his shirt, this guy could easily be mistaken for a left leaning hippy. The intruder probably thought he had himself a nice little victim. Can't judge a book by it's cover!

He said the strangest thing was when the robber's cousins stopped by the shop 11 days later.
"I thought things were about to go down again. And it was not the case, they were just explaining to me." said Raleigh.
He said the suspect's cousins explained the robber was a 15-year-old runaway from San Antonio who left that night with a bullet in his shoulder.
If the BG went to a hospital, why didn't they call LEO? If the BG didn't go to a hospital, how did he get the bullet out of his shoulder?
Either way, the hippie didn't miss completely.

Why the focus on the way the guy looks? It's apparent he shares some of our same values regarding self defense. I bet some on here might look like a "hippie". I can't believe I just used the "hippie" in 2016.

Tell me about it. My BIL happens to be gay and is also a staunch liberal. I took him for his first ever trip to the range a few months ago (after going through some gun safety rules at my house). He posted a few pics on Facebook, and was overwhelmed by negative responses from his circle of friends.
