A Mexican journalist who is known for his "critical writing on organized crime" was in a restaurant while his former military bodyguard waited in the car outside. Three men approached in a reported attempt to steal the car, and the bodyguard confronted them. After the shooting was over one assailant was dead, the second wounded, the third driven off.
Bodyguard is probably a keeper.
