Two men made an agreement to meet and sell an Xbox for $350.
The robber died of his wounds. At one point Trent [supposed buyer] then began striking the man over the head with a gun. While fending off the attack, the man got a hold of a knife he was carrying. While using an arm to hold off Trent, the man opened the knife blade using his teeth and his other hand.
Roehrig said the man then stabbed Trent in the torso a number of times in self-defense. Trent took a few steps and collapsed. The man then called 911.
The handgun turned out to be a BB gun. The envelope of "cash" he had turned out to be stuffed with paper. The county prosecutor said there was enough evidence that this was a case of self-defense and declined to file charges.
The man attacked was treated for head injuries at a local hospital.
