And no shots fired...

Cedar Falls stabbing suspect was stopped by citizen with gun permit

(Btw, that's the headline the newspaper used.)
A man with a permit to carry detained a Cedar Falls man when he started stabbing people at his apartment building last month, authorities said.

ELB,

No problem.

If you post enough, certain tiny embarrassments occasionally crop up - no sweat...

Follow-up (and incrementing my post count  ):

After an evaluation to judge his competency for trial, stabber took a plea bargain to avoid trial on attempted murder charges. He pled guilty to first-degree burglary and two counts of willful injury causing serious injury. "Under the deal, Jacobsen will be sentenced to 25 years in prison for burglary, consecutive to two 10-year-sentences for willful injury for a total of up to 45 years behind bars..."

As long as he doesn't get parole I could live with that. I wonder if the lesser charges make it easier to get early release later?
