Any news on the change to have the guards at entrances if they post 30.06? Not sure on the bill number. Thanks

Wow, this would be nice, but I would be surprised if it passes!

It would be nice, with health care workers who show up to work in dark parking lots at 5am, or leave after dark. Or who have patients stealing off their desks, and who knows what else. No security cameras, and no protection.

We have security cameras; however, our guards are not armed. But, as a worker who works 7a-7p and shares a parking lot with the public, this would be welcome for me.

Posting a guard at each entrance will be extremely expensive.
And we all know who will be picking up that tab.

In which case, the solution is clear; don't post 30.06 signage and you won't have to assume the responsibility and cost of providing the protection you took away from the public.

Would have been nice. Wife was in a hospital for a few days a while back, and I had to disarm and rearm every time I visited. On nearly every trip, I spotted at least one person in the lot doing the same thing and thought "Man, this is like a buffet for people that want to steal guns..."
