I feel that I need to hit on his phone/email in support of OC. What kind of weak and defeated approach has he taken? Is this how he would strongly fight for 2ndA rights?

I do too. However, if almost all gun bills don't get through the Senate with the Republican majority, only 19 votes needed to debate/vote a bill, and a Lt. Gov. who professed strong commitment to guns owners and the Second Amendment, then I won't be a happy person.
