Interestingly enough CJ is giving credit where credit is due.

What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?

Congrats Charles! This has been a long time coming! Thank you for all your hard work over the years on campus carry. Please make sure to pass along our thanks to everyone else working behind the scenes as well.

I heard someone (Rep. Fletcher?) talk about that. Junior Colleges sometimes have dual-credit high school students on their campuses, sometimes separated from the college students but sometimes in mixed classrooms. JCs requested extra time to figure out how to handle that.

I hope we don't waste political capitol on OC for CC! Much more important 2A issues!

I hope next session the focus will be remove off limit locations.

Lots of teenagers everywhere we carry. Shouldn't be an issue.

:iagree: 100%
Where we can carry is a much more important issue than how we carry.

One guy lamented the 84th began with guns and ended with guns. Maybe some one should remind him the formation of the Great State of Texas began and ended with guns!

Thanks to Charles, Alice, TSRA, NRA, and to every single person on this board who took the time out to call/write/email.

Although the there may be debate on which bill was more important, that debate just boils down to personal opinion. The most important point is they 2 difficult bills have passed.

@lmcgaughy tweet
Gov @GregAbbott_TX tweeted immediately after #opencarry passage signalling he would sign it into law. Not so with #campuscarry. #txlege

But OCT... I personally wouldn't go there, ever. I have no use for the tactics used, and would not encourage them. :biggrinjester:

Thanks again for those who made this possible.
