Would these be the same reporters who see an "ASSAULT WEAPON" every time a Hi-point is used?

We must reject the idea that every time a law’s broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions. ~ Ronald Reagan ~

I don't believe your rhetorical question is germane to the thread.arthurcw wrote:Would these be the same reporters who see an "ASSAULT WEAPON" every time a Hi-point is used?

Meantime, a House-Senate conference committee made short work of House Bill 910, which allows those with a concealed handgun license to openly carry a firearm in a shoulder or belt holster.
The bill will return to both houses with a major sticking point removed — an amendment, added by Sen. Don Huffines, R-Dallas, that barred law enforcement from detaining or questioning those with a holstered gun solely to check for a concealed handgun license.
“I’m disappointed,” Huffines said. “But I’m going to go along with the will of the body.”
The open carry bill could be voted on Friday in both houses.

Re: HB 910 Conference Committee
The feckless idiot could have gone along with the will of the body and pulled his amendment down while Huffman was cleaning his plow.......but he didn't. All of this lays squarely at his feet.Callaway wrote:Not sure if credible...

Sen. @DonHuffines says he is disappointed his police-stop amendment got cut but, "I'm going to go along with the will of the body." #txlege

Multiple sources are reporting it has and their sources are Huffines and other members of the committee.
