I told myself that if this bill were to somehow pass into law then I would begin enrolling in classes again

Pretty strange. I mean, everybody KNOWS it won't pass before midnight, so this whole thing is a charade and waste of time that could be spent on other bills. Looks like after a point, they would just withdraw it or something.

I think you overestimate their character. They would use that as a reason guns shouldn't be allowed.K5GU wrote:If SB 11 (Campus Licensed Carry of a Handgun) fails to pass and someone's loved one on campus is assaulted and unable to defend themselves, all the opponents of the bill will surely regret their decisions.

I was thinking....like playing the card game hearts. When you know you have a run, you just lay all your cards down and don't actually have to play out the hand. Then you can move on.Ruark wrote:Pretty strange. I mean, everybody KNOWS it won't pass before midnight, so this whole thing is a charade and waste of time that could be spent on other bills. my daughter was actually very interested in this one. She'll be 22 this summer and has finally started talking about taking classes.

I need more caffeine or my pillow.
Tomorrow, Mom's demands none-sense actions, are celebrating. It is a shame if Rs have 2/3 majority in Senate and Greater Majority in the House and could not get 2 Pro-2ndA Bills done.
