Amendment 18 by Elles...ah, gunshow loophole! Would hated to have not had one of those! Oh my, "gun sales at gun shows without background checks" -- don't they get tired of not being able to read?

The vote to reduce the Senate's 2/3 (21 votes) to 3/5 (19 votes) is glaringly important now. SB17 would never have been brought up for vote if we still has the 2/3 rule.

Very true, thought of that earlier today and wondered if that was the case.

FINALLY!!!! The Senate never calls a point-of-order, but this may bring all these off-topic amendments to a halt.

This session has been very instructive. By listening to the articulated concerns of elected officials, I have a better appreciation for the concerns of others. Thus, I am better equipped to address those concerns should I be confronted with them.

More people are seeing what an ass Whitmire is because of the audience this Bill is receiving.

But now #20...oh boy, an opportunity to "control the expansion of government" amendment. Is this another new way to say again sunset provision?

He keeps talking down to Estes for his praise and waste of time with it, but he won't stop wasting talking with preliminary statements.

But good to know that the road rage shootouts wasn't "nearly as bad as we thought it would be."

Amen to that.

Since the legislature meets every two years, they have the opportunity to sunset, every two years.

Only took her three breaths that time, I counted.
