Am I crazy? Don't answer yes.
So I am really hoping to find somebody else who carries a P226 with a TLR-1. I have a TacOps so the beaver tail is pretty noticeable but was wondering if anybody has had any luck finding a good IWB kydex light bearing holster for one. Not really wanting to make it myself as I don't have the most free time in the world. Thanks for your guys input and support of 2A.
Carrying: either p226 .40 tacops or xdm9
Not native to Texas but got here as soon I could!

Welcome to Texas, but if your signature is any guide, wouldn't you be happier in Louisiana? Have you checked the BladeTech website?wreckemsaints wrote:So I am really hoping to find somebody else who carries a P226 with a TLR-1. Lol you'd think huh? No but I will check. I moved to Texas when I was 4 so I will always call Texas home.

It's not all kydex, but you show that you currently carry in an Alien Gear (hybrid) holster. Don't they offer the option for a weapon light for their holsters? Best of luck finding what you need/want!
Remember, in a life-or-death situation, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

I am about to be in this same boat because I will be required to only carry this setup. I am reaching out to a few different places. What exactly are you wanting and I can ask as well. I am looking for a single clip adjustable cant.
Why are you carrying this setup up just out of curiousity?

I have a TLR-1, but I am never going to carry it mounted on the weapon. It is just too bulky for me to carry that way. I much prefer a small tactical flashlight tucked into my hip pocket.

Crossfire Holsters LLC

He even has videos on YouTube of him making his holsters. American made, small business owner, he's making one of his Sleek Series right now for my M&P9 with TLR-3. Be sure to put P226R in Make/Model and the option for the light will pop up.

2-3 weeks, but I ordered the "Graveyard" print Kydex, and he does state it may be 2-3 weeks if he has to order the Kydex. Basic Black (or colors he has available) he said would be faster. He responds to emails FAST.

His prices seem about about average. I can't seem to see anything special about the places charging over $80 not included shipping. I and stuck on having all my holsters having a way to adjust the cant, but maybe I will email him thanks.

Re: Am I crazy? Don't answer yes.
Mine was $73 shipped with the "extra" for the kydex I requested. As far as cant, seeing as he makes these himself, he would probably be able to make it how you want, rather than a mass producer.

I will say this. I am seeing both a "226" and a "226 railed" which are indeed different guns. Some of the places offer one or the other or both. Keep that in mind.
