Belt Reviews

I see that we have a dedicated place to review holsters and thought that the same should be done with belts. If you have a great belt be sure to share it not so great share that too. Please include what your hanging from it and how long you have been using it as well as the width and thickness.
I will start. Crossbreed Instructor Belt. 1.5 inch width, Roughly 1/8th inch thick well just over that. The belt arrived and looked very sturdy. They are 65.00 dollars so I would expect that. At first I thought wow this is great. Then I put it on and said oh no I hope it breaks in fast. I did nothing to accelerate the process other than hanging my EMP .40 in the Supertuck holster off my side. Things went well for several months then it started loosing shape and curving a lot. Some is to be expected though. In recent month or so it has started to get this wrinkly texture to the leather. Also the hook it uses has moved and it is stretching out the hole it protrudes from as well as the holes in the belt have elongated quiet a bit I use several of them depending on what I am carrying. I find myself pulling up my pants a lot these days also sometimes the hook will pop out of the hole it's in. I will be contacting Crossbreed about the warranty.
Here are some pics of what it looks like after one year of daily use.
