Ladies and Gentlemen,
I recently purchased a G17 Gen 4 from a forum member here and basically this is going to be my bed side gun and I may take it to competitions at a future time when and if ammo ever becomes readily available again.
I just want a holster of some sort that will cover the trigger guard, so that if I choose the take the pistol on my car and put it in the glove box etc I just don't want to have the trigger exposed (I always have a roudn in the pipe) but want it to be ready for action if needed.
Any suggestions?

Basic holster for G17 gen 4
"Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars."
1)Treat firearms as if they are loaded. 2)Point the muzzle away from non-targets.
3)Keep fingers off the trigger until ready to shoot. 4)Be sure of your target and backstop.

I found one... http://www.wrbsales.com/products/142-insta-hold.aspx. I bough a holster from these guys at the Lewisville gun show and they had exactly what I wanted. The holster shows for a G26 but it fits the G17 just fine with the barrel sticking out a little bit.

Re: Basic holster for G17 gen 4
I just ordered a Remora with sweat guard IWB for my wife's G26. They are having a sale of 20% PLUS a free mag pouch! Final price w/ shipping was $27! The reviews on the remora no clip holster is 5 star.
Can't beat that price. It will work for what you describe.
