Great deal on tactical flashlights

At SAMs Club today, I bought a pack of 2 - 200 lumen flashlights with a key ring flashlight for $15. Great deal.

Aircraft grade aluminum
50%/100% power saving function
50,000 hour LED life
Emergency strobe
All Batteries included
Water resistant
Nylon hand strap
4 1/2 inches long

Super bright! Seems brighter than hubby's mag light. Going to get more for the cars and inside gun safe. Perfect size to keep at bedside as Mr. Ayoob recommends. ;-)

Small keychain flashlight is pretty bright also. I sure needed it while shopping at Target last year when the power went out in the store and I couldn't see my hand in front of my face!

Is it the one that has a lighted on/off switch? It turns red when the batteries are low?

If it is that one, be ready to buy lots of batteries as it continually drains the batteries (checking voltage) even when not using it!

Then the result is when you need it, the batteries are dead.

Costco has been selling the heck out of a 3 pack of small flashlights for about $16-18. The first batch were 100 lumens or so and had the push button switch at the end that glowed red. Battery life (3xAAA) was pretty pathetic since there was a constant current draw to keep the "brains" alive. They had some 150 lumen 3 packs for awhile, but now have been offering a 200 lumen 3 pack which are very, very good.

I've been trying to figure out a mounting system for my shotty.

I bought a package of those and you're right, they are very good. On a subsequent trip, they had a 250 lumen set almost identical to the 200's. The only difference, 0ther than being brighter, is that the 250's don't have the scalloped edge around the lens.

Here they are on Amazon, since Costco doesn't have them listed now. http://www.amazon.com/home-improvement/dp/B00A9PK4WK

CHLLADY is correct, these are awesome flashlights. I bought 3 packs about 2 months ago and they are durable and bright. CRE LED's, which are the best on the market in my opinion. Waterproof works great too, dropped one in a bucket of water by mistake and not a drop got inside. Use 1 at work on a daily basis and the batteries wear get low after daily use but my work supplies batteries for us so that's not an issue with me. I paid 19.99 for mine but it was still a deal. Great tactical light for cheap. Drop test tested at about 20 feet onto cement with no issues either. One tough flashlight! :iagree:

Did they fix the switch to allow momentary-on or is it still a bullet magnet?
