One thing often leads to another :???: :

I started out buying a "real" gun belt from Bullhide Belts after my $10 Tractor Supply belt (hecho en Mexico) literally started to break in half near the buckle. Belt received and wow, it's very, very nice - thick and well made in the USA. I bought a 1.5" wide belt since my old Bianchi OWB holster that I use for EDC had 1.5" belt loops.

With great anticipation I tried to thread the Bullhide belt through the Bianchi holster and discovered that was going to be impossible, the belt loops of the Bianchi will not accept a thick belt, so, it's time to add to the holster collection. Found a good looking DeSantis Mini Slide holster on Amazon and ordered it and also a Fobus paddle holster. The new holsters arrived yesterday and the DeSantis holster works perfectly with the gun and new belt - I am very impressed with the fit, design, and quality of the Mini Slide. From an initial test, the Fobus paddle holster should work quite well and it will be faster to deploy.

I'm now a believer in "real" gun belts :thumbs2: .

Nice holster/belt combo by the way. I own a couple of Desantis Holsters, and they are well made units.
