I ordered this holster from midwayusa.com. The Holster was so exceptionally terrible I had to make a short video review for it. Here it is:

I have a SA S&W and I also went cheap but purchased the synthetic version on this holster. I just use it for storage purposes now. Very disappointed as well.
Once I went to White Hat Holsters, never looked back!

I have a De Santis Scorpion kydex holster I purchased several years ago and it's great, so I bought another one a couple of months ago. The new model is a piece of junk. The kydex is much thinner and no retention at all. I was able to return it after an animated discussion with customer service.
Thanks,
George

I guess I got lucky, mine works great. I don't clip it to a belt though I carry it appendix style and clip it to my jeans and put my belt on top of the metal clip. Mine holds retention well and doesn't have any loose leather to bind up during re-holstering. Mine carries my 640 and I wear it 13-14hrs a day.

I've had read good luck with a Fist #10 Shortcut for my .357 J-frame snubby: http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/holster/10.htm. It's very well made, and the gun is so small that OWB conceals very easily.
