Another iwb recommendation

Post by Jstrother »

Been carrying for a month or so now. I'm looking for a place that will do a custom holster for my glock 19. I'm looking for something similar to a crossbreed supertuck but will cover the entire grip. My grip is pretty rough and starts rubbing me raw when I've been at work a few hours.

you could get a Kholster full moon holster and swap clips to whatever you want
Kholsters are comfortable. IIRC, you can even trim/cut any "excess" leather off you want to and not void the warranty.

Crossbreed and CompTac sell clips and hardware separately
Example:

Crossbreed Vclips

Image
Comptac Vclips
http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=78" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Image
Crosbreed J clips

CompTac mounting options
Spare Hardware
$2.00

http://www.comp-tac.com/catalog.php?cPath=21" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And, if you want a certain color ... get dye or shoe polish and make it tan/cordovan/brown/black/natural/red/pink/white/camo...
I'd avoid adding glitter ... :biggrinjester:

Just copying what I said in another similar post:

You should really look into White Hat holsters. I have the Max Tuck from them, its just like crossbreed's supertuck but if you have multiple guns you want to carry you just have to order another kydex (not another complete holster) and interchange the kydex on your cow or horse hide backing. I love my max tuck. I was torn between the two companies, but the interchangeable kydex and slightly lower price sold me on White Hat. Check them out!

Oh and did I mention that White Hat is a Texas based company? Well yes, they are :txflag:

Its very comfortable, you can get it in horse or cow hide. It molds to your body. I love my Max Tuck!
