MTAC vs CBST

I have been carrying a Glock 19 in a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC for almost a year now. I have liked it and found it quite concealable and comfortable.

I recently picked up a Crossbreed Supertuck for my M&P and I am blown away at how much more comfortable and concealable it is. With the CBST I am concealing a M&P Pro which is significantly larger than the Glock 19 with greater comfort and tighter shirts than I would ever try wearing with my MTAC/G19.

So, given how similar these holsters are does anyone else who owns both have similar experiences or does my MTAC need adjusting?

Is there a difference in how high the gun rides in the holster relative to your waist/belt? What about the cant? I have neither, but a holster that is quite similar in design.

Try adjusting it. If it doesn’t help, you can always unadjust it.

You can adjust those MTACS until the gun is barely sticking out of your pants. I put the front one on the bottom hole and the back one on the 2nd from the top and cut off the excess.

I have mine adjusted to just barely stick out. Feels very natural and the draw looks and feels like going for my wallet.

The drawback is with that much leather and bulk down low, long car rides can get really painful since you sit a little on the rig.

Love my MTAC but wish I had the money to try them all out.

I have 3 Crossbreed holsters now, and they are the only concealed carry holsters I will ever buy. The most comfortable and concealable I have tried yet. I have had my CHL for 15 or so years, so I have tried many holsters, none have been this good.
