Pocket Holster for 2" J-Frame

I've been using an Uncle Mike's pocket holster to carry my S&W 340SC, but it's starting to lose it's shape (the mouth of the holster is taking a "set" bent over the back of the cylinder) and the "sticky" material isn't so sticky any more, with the result that if I'm not careful, I present the holster along with the gun during the draw - since the holster covers the trigger, this tends to delay my first shot. ;-)

I was going to replace it with another Uncle Mike's - they ARE cheap - until I noticed that while the one I have was "Made in USA" the new ones are "Made in VIETNAM" . . . and I try very hard to avoid buying things made there.

So . . .

Any recommendations for a GOOD pocket holster that will stay put and reliably release the gun when I draw? (Got a few ideas, but I'd like the recommendations of forum members before I take the plunge, since I've already got a box full of other holsters that didn't work out so well . . . )

I use a Galco HorseHide pocket holster for my snubby. They're not cheap but you get what you pay for.

It doesn't look like much but it works like a champ.

Without question the best pocket holster for a snubby I've ever used.

Puts grip exactly where you want it, fabric inner material will not stick to gun, and design perfectly disguises any gun print pattern/outline

Edited to add: and it's Made in USA by a former LAPD cop.

You may not like it because it's similar to the Uncle Mike's style, but I really like my DeSantis Superfly

My J-frame slips in and out with ease, been using it for a year without issue. It doesn't come out of my pocket (annoyingly so at times when I'm trying to take it out) and its inner fabric is slick so the gun pops out when I need it to.

My favorite is a Fist K5. The ultra thin kydex is light, not bulky, and does a great job of hiding the contours of the gun.

It is stable in the pocket, and the thumb ledge is a terrific innovation that makes absolutely certain that the holster doesn't come out of the pocket with the gun.

It's my all time favorite for pocket carry.

I am a huge fan of Mika products. The little pocket holsters hold a Glock 26 stable in cargo shorts.
