G23 + Comp-Tac MTAC + Crimson Trace?

I have a Glock 23 and carry it in a Comp-Tac MTAC holster. I absolutely love this combo, the G23 is perfect for me and the MTAC makes it disappear without any discomfort at all.
I'm considering buying a Crimson Trace laser grip, and there are two models that fit my G23 - the LG-417 and the LG-619. I'm wondering if anyone else carries this combo, and if so, will the LG-619 work on a G23 (or G19, same frame) in an MTAC?
I've established from another forum that the LG-417 will definitely work on a G23 with an MTAC, but it is $100 more expensive than the LG-619.
Anyone?
