Just placed an order for one of these for the Glock. I went through Lightning Arms Sports. They have them in stock. Its a few dollars more but it's worth it not to wait 4 to 8 months, which is what I was quoted by Milt Sparks. It should be here by Friday.

My VM-2 arrived today. First impression is that it is a very well made holster. It is quite stiff and will take some break in time. I am wearing it righn now at work. No gun since I can't carry here. It is very comfortable.

Ok back home with the gun. I can't believe the retention even without a thumbstrap. I can shake it hard without the gun falling out. It is very comfortable. The rear snap is a bit hard to get snapped, but I'm sure that will break in.
The only thing I don't so far is that the front strap doesn't pull the gun in as tight as I expected, but it can be lived with.
Over all I'm impressed. The jury is still out as to whether it is worth the high cost.

Make sure the difficult snap is fully tightened. If it's not, it's a bear to snap. The holster should have come with an Allen wrench.
I have two VM-II's and one LTD-HR (a VM-II variant) and I really like all of them. I think you're going to be happy with it.

Nope no allen wrench. I have several anyway. What's it for?

The male part of the snap screws on and must be tight for the snaps to work right.

I got a versa-Max from Allen Yoast in Austin,Tx. Really good guy. I think he carries several of the Milt Sparks holsters among others.
