Re: Tactipac Holsters Gone Silent
Hmmmmm...
This just showed up. I ordered mine during the period he mentions. It also looks like he has softened his tone a little.
I'll keep you posted as things develop.

What I still don't understand is why he didn't tell me he was 2 to 3 weeks behind his published schedule at the time I ordered mine.RJ, First of all so you know this is an AUTOMATED BULK EMAIL SENT OUT TO ALL OUR EXISTING CUSTOMERS. Replies won't go to anyone, sorry - but that is what I am taking a moment to explain more thoroughly.
As you may or may not know, we are receiving massive amounts of holster orders, especially for our FusionPac IWB concealed carry holster. I wanted to take a moment to update everyone on our production schedule the best I can.
We have purchased more machines and tools, contracted labor to help and are diligently training and trying to keep up with the existing orders and the new demand everyday.
Most people have a hard time understanding why we can't just answer a simple email with a projected status update or answer to a pressing question through email.
Well the answer is simple, but probably not that obvious. If I or any other current laborer takes the time to answer the phone (it's ringing as I speak), answer an email or try to communicate individually with all of our current customers and all the new customers we receive daily it would take literally the entire day.
The easy answer you might say is "just hire someone else to answer the phone and emails". Well that person would not have the know how or the information necessary and so someone would obviously have to sit there and train them or coach them on the calls and emails. You get the picture ... we would be back to square one and by the time they were trained it probably wouldn't be necessary to have them.
So, here is our production philosophy concerning all the orders we are receiving. We work six days a week and 10 to 12 hours a day preparing, making and shipping orders. Eventually we will catch up, but we get the most orders out possible rather then spending that time trying to contact everyone and update them individually and NOT WORK ON THEIR HOLSTER. We can't do both.
We were about 2 to 3 weeks behind schedule before the new year and that has been reduced to about 1 to 1.5 weeks behind currently. We anticipate being caught up and actually ahead of schedule soon as new labor is trained and the daily production rate increases.
To give you an idea of where we are in the production schedule in the next 2 to 3 days this week we are processing January 6th through January 13th of 2013 orders for the FusionPac IWB orders.
We will do our best to update again this coming week with the progress we are making.
As always God bless you and yours. By the way, if you are personally upset or offended in anyway, please forgive us. It is not our intention to offend or cause stress for anyone concerning there order.
Thank-you again for making the choice to defend yourself and the ones you love.
Happy Easter - HE HAS RISEN INDEED.

Hmm. I may have to look into this for my father. He can't seem to keep his trousers up with the weight of IWB holsters and he refuses to wear suspenders....As you may or may not know, we are receiving massive amounts of holster orders, especially for our FusionPac IWB concealed carry holster.

Re: Tactipac Holsters Gone Silent
What motivated me to try one is that it's independent of what you're wearing. I carry in a CompTac Minotaur now, and getting the shirt tucked properly is always a pain. Plus the clips are still showing. Yeah, I know most people will never even notice them, but I do. When I get to work I have to disarm, put my P239 and mag in the safe, remove the holster and put it in the glove box. With this holster (if it works for me) it could remain on body and tucking would be no problem. Plus I can carry two mags on the holster instead of one in my pocket. My biggest concern about this holster configuration is reloading. Since I'm right handed, I would need to hold the weapon in my left hand to withdraw a replacement mag from the holster. I practice one-handed drills, and I'm actually more accurate left-handed, but it's still a concern.dawgfishboy wrote:Hmm. I may have to look into this for my father.
