Everyone keeps telling me to do it on my own and I assure you it will be slaughtered if I do hahaha, I practically ruined those Talon Grips when I tried those out a year ago. I really liked that three speed holster someone showed me in a link but I don't know how I feel about velcro.. Theis holster huh? I will have to check that out.. I didn't get my Crossbreed cut when I bought it because I thought it was silly and that I would get annoyed of my firearm poking me all day but I feel now that a little discomfort is worth it if I can get a proper grip from the draw...Jaguar wrote:I have had both, and prefer the combat cut. You can always do your own combat cut, just need a sharp knife and steady hand.

A sharp pair of scissors will work too, just mark where you want to cut and cut. I trimmed a little off my Theis Holster that way, just to remove some excess that wasn't needed for the screw holes I use.TrackinPat wrote:Everyone keeps telling me to do it on my own and I assure you it will be slaughtered if I do hahaha, I practically ruined those Talon Grips when I tried those out a year ago. Re: Suggestions for a gun belt?
I originally bought mine without the combat cut. After rubbing a raw spot on my thumb practicing my draw I called Crossbreed about "adding" the combat cut. I thought about doing it myself but I figured for $7 plus shipping it one way it was worth it to let them do it. I had it back in a week and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.TrackinPat wrote:Any of you that have a Crossbreed holster, did you get it combat cut? I just received my bull belt in today. It's awesome. I hardly notice my holster at all. Strongly recommended!

Another vote for The Wilderness Tactical Belt. I've had their 5 Stitch model for several years and been really happy with it.MoJo wrote:Another belt that is good is the Wilderness Belt. I own both the Instructor and the Frequent flyer. Both are great. 511 makes a good belt at a decent price too.

Another recommendation on The Wilderness Instructor belt. Don't remember how many years I've had mine but if I ever buy another gun belt this would be what I get again.MoJo wrote:Another belt that is good is the Wilderness Belt.
