As for the metal clips, I'm actually a bit disappointed in the metal hooks of my Crossbreed, because they can scratch the finish on a belt. Not as bad as my cell phone holster or spare holster (which both also have big metal clips). But the metal clips are very durable so far and don't move once you get them set. I had the old-style Crossbreed plastic clips at first, but one broke so owner sent me the new metal ones.

Been considering ordering some MTAC clips to use with my Crossbreed, which has the added benefit of giving an unbelievable range of cant options (holes in both the clips AND the holster leather).

Your Killin me here. That is one thing I liked about the MTAC was the adjustment options and the fact that you can change the Kydex part to fit other guns!

Yeah, I liked the idea of the changeable kydex part too. But for $40 more (than buying one holster and an additional kydex shell) just get two holsters and that way you're not changing out 6 screws/nuts every time you want to change guns (unless you're a NASCAR pitcrew expert or something). I thought about changing out the clips on one of my CBs depending on whether I wanted velcro hidden clips or over the belt clips, and even that got to be a pain and it's only two screw/nut combinations.

But honestly, you really can't go wrong with either. I chose Crossbreed because I bought a used one and instantly fell in love with it, so ordered another from the manufacturer for other gun. Had my used one been an MTAC, probably would've stayed with them.

Only downside I've heard about MTAC (all of Comp Tac?) is they were bought out by some larger non-Texas company and now only give a one-year warranty? Whereas Crossbreed is still lifetime warranty.

MTAC users, y'all correct me if above is wrong. Someone told me this and I have not verified it.

The belt keeps it tucked in real close to the body rather than sagging to the side a bit.

Not true - no change of ownership. I know the creator/owner of Comp-tac. I don't know about the warranty. I have had no reason to ask. I haven't had any trouble with any of my equipment from them.

Good choice. I like velcro clips for church. Metal clips for my jeans.

They are in Spring, Texas, near where I used to work.

Garcia946, is that a Crossbreeed or a Comp-tac? .... I might be interested in a Comp-tac, I was going to buy 2 of them anyway, or one and a Comfort Carry from jnd Tactical horsehide lined maybe, because I'm converting to carrying two 26s instead of my 19 +26/27, on my Comp-tac velcro lined, kydex reinforced, contoured Comp-tac belt as I get the money, but not interested in a Crossbreed.

I have the internal guide rod laser on my Glock 26 & 27 and first had a Kholster, no problem turning laser on, but mag release button released a time or two due to tightness, so I got out the drill and made a hole where the protruding extended mag release button was .... no problem since.
