Velcro Clips
here recently i've had increasingly needing to tuck in the shirt more and have had trouble covering the standard clips of my holster. I've seen the j clips and they seem to only show the bottom but it's still visible. I've also seen the velcro clips and these have peaked my interest due to no visibility. my worries are do they hold good enough to support your firearm and enough not to take the holster with gun if needing to draw? the other question i had is since i already have a gun belt so would i have to sew the velcro into my belt? or is the velcro have doubleback tape or something to stick onto the belt? i would've added these options when i got my stuff had i known i would need it in the future but i don't have the option to buy a new gunbelt right now. any help or advice would be appreciated!

Re: Velcro Clips
you can get peel and stick velcro (go to a craft store for good quality) and it will work just fine
The velcro will hold with the V-Clips very good.

Re: Velcro Clips
The Crossbreed V-clips come with adhesive Velcro for your belt. Works well. Just make sure to clean the area you will be sticking them on t make sure there is no oil or wax on it. Another tip is to round the corners on the Velcro so there is not a corner to peel loose. Over time the Velcro may start to work loose on the clip or belt, but Crossbreed sent me more at no cost! Great customer service!!!!

Re: Velcro Clips
thanks for the pennies! i was looking at CB site and will probably go that route if it doesn't take them 6 months to ship it
edit- just got off the phone with them (surprised to get ahold of someone that quickly) and the clips will be processed today and shipped monday! They come with the hardware to attach to the holster and the strips to stick on your belt for 10 bucks! i bought an extra set of velcro strips incase i mess on up or need another. It didn't say anything about shipping and the total was $13.00 (3 for the extra velcro) i will do a quick review once i receive them and get them on my holster and see how they work for a couple of days.

Re: Velcro Clips
The other thing you will like about the velcro clips is that they don't scuff up your belt like the metal ones do.

Re: Velcro Clips
I have swapped out the clips on my CrossBreed for c-clips from Comp-Tac. I love them. They multiply your ride height and cant options and give you about 3/4 inch more tuck at the clips.

Re: Velcro Clips
Answering the questions in the OP:
Absolutely. I carry a full size Sig 2022, and the velcro clips hold very firmly to my belt. When I first put it on in the morning, I think it's going to go loose on me, but by the time I take it off it at the end of the day, I'm convinced that the holster and belt have become one. (I'm sure it happens much earlier than the end of the day, but that's usually my first check point.)Ultra_Solo_Sig_0904 wrote:my worries are do they hold good enough to support your firearm and enough not to take the holster with gun if needing to draw?
Like the other posters here have said, you can double-stick it to the belt. If you have more than one gunbelt, perhaps you can send one back at a time to the manufacturer to get velcro added?Ultra_Solo_Sig_0904 wrote:since i already have a gun belt so would i have to sew the velcro into my belt? or is the velcro have doubleback tape or something to stick onto the belt?
