OWB holster for my Sig

#1

Post by nightmare69 »

Im looking into get a OWB holster for my Sig Sauer SC P250 9mm. Im a skinny guy and wondering what kind of holster can I get and wear with just a t-shirt without a huge obvious bulge. Would like a hybrid or a good leather holster made for my gun, no no universal style. I have to be able to wear it without printing, this is the biggest issue.

OWB will produce much more of a buldge than IWB, no matter what you try to do. Is there a reason it has to be OWB?

I got a good IWB and its nice but I want a OWB. I know they make some for conceal carry and those are the ones I'm looking for. I also don't want to spend a fortune either.

If it budges too much I can use it for winter carry.

Those look nice but are very pricey. Looks like there is a lengthy wait time too. You might check out these (JBP Holsters) and see what you think. It's what I use and the prices aren't that bad and you can get one in about a week.

How is the quality on those? Are they custom molded for your firearm?

I was looking at this holster from them.

Also how is it with no slide guard?

Check out raven concealment
"You can say 'stop' or 'alto' or use any other word you think will work but I've found that a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much the universal language."

Lou Alessi makes CQC-S that is the finest product made.

We also have a member here that has came close to the Alessi. He has made me two, but I have not been able to get a hold of him. I hope he is alright.

I know you already ordered, but in case you want a second at some point, or someone else sees this topic; these are some very nice OWB holsters. http://www.rgrizzleleather.com/owb-holsters.html

I have two of those same exact model. One for my M&P Shield 9 and another for my M&P 9c. I have also purchased a couple of the mag holders they offer too. All of it is good equipment. The reviews are very favorable also. Let us know when you receive your shipment and how you like it. :fire

Got the holster in today. It's nice but I don't see how I'm going to be able to get away carrying with it in the summer. I'm a skinny guy and I carry at 4 o clock and I have a nice bulge. Another issue is the barrel is right over my back pocket making retrieval of my wallet near impossible.

Without a jacket I think I will continue to use my IWB holster if I want to carry with just a t shirt. Any tips to be able to carry a OWB holster in the summer? I know that most of the public is not going to notice the bulge but its pretty big bulge and noticeable to me.
