I use a CompTac MTAC for my XDM 9mm. I ordered an extra Kydex body for my Browning Hi-Power when I ordered the holster thinking two holsters in one would be cool. Now that I've used the holster for my XDM for a while, I noticed the leather side of the holster is now imprinted with the shape of my XDM.
The OCD side of me has a big problem with putting another pistol in that holster now (even after changing the kydex side). All the locks, levers, etc. wouldn't line up and I don't think I could stand that.
I bought a Bullard IWB Leather holster for my Browning to get myself past this issue.
Anyone else have that affliction?

Re: Extra Kydex Bodies for Hybrid Holsters
Depending on when you bought the holster, the body may not even be interchangeable. I found that out when I ordered one for my P226 and thought I'd just switch the body from my old beatup P239 holster. I contacted CompTac, and they admitted that the design had been changed in 2009 and the older holsters weren't interchangeable with the newer bodies. (The holes don't line up.)

I bought mine at the same time but haven't tried to install the other kydex yet so I really don't know if they'll line up or not (although I assume they would since they were ordered together).baldeagle wrote:Depending on when you bought the holster, the body may not even be interchangeable. Probably doesn't matter as my OCD brain wouldn't let me carry my Browning in there anyway after it was imprinted with the XDM shape and fixtures.
