Bushnell TRS-25... Great price w/rebate

I just ran across this on Amazon and thought I'd share.

I've been thinking of getting a TRS-25 or a Primary Arms Micro Dot (T-1 clone) for the Ultimak Rail on my AK. Both of them have gotten really good reviews on the various AK forums. The TRS-25 was about $100 at the beginning of this year. Now, Amazon has it for $69 and Bushnell is offering a $30 rebate through the end of the year. I just called the Bushnell rebate support line and verified that the rebate IS good on this model of dot sight.

So, a name-brand dot sight that gets solid reviews and comes with a 2-year warranty for $39! (Free shipping with my Prime membership.) I already have one on the way for my AK.

Can you provide a link? Amazon only has 2 Ultra Dot sights, with one review each (1 good and 1 bad), and they both cost over $200.

Sorry, just not seeing anything here that even compares to the TRS-25, PA MicroDot or T-1. Not to mention the prices are nowhere near the $39 I started this thread about.

I mounted it to my Ultimak rail and it already matches up to my iron sights pretty well. Hopefully I'll get to the range next week to zero it. It cowitnesses the iron sights beautifully and the weight isn't even noticeable up front. 11 brightness settings (this one goes to 11!) and easy to operate. I'm pretty happy with my $39 investment!

I called the rebate support hotline and read them the model and UPC number for this sight. They confirmed that it is valid for the $30 rebate.

I have one on the way. I couldn't confirm the rebate, but it seemed like a decent price to see if my tired old eyes would benefit from the re dot w/o spending an arm and a leg. I guess I'll find out if the rebate is good when I sumbit it.

I called the rebate hotline today @ 1-888-326-6187 and was told the rebate wasn't valid for the UPC and model number off the TRS-25 box. Does your rebate form list Trophy XLT products (binoculars, riflescope or spoyying scope) or some other Bushnell product line?

I may send it in anyway to see if they will honor it. I still find the rebate listed at a couple of websites that direct you to Amazon and they show rebate form link for Trophy XLT, but when you click to buy and are directed to Amazon there is no rebate link shown at Amazon.
