Re: xdm 9
Can you narrow it down by:
1. Carry or competition?
2. Inside or outside the waist band?
3. Leather or kydex?
4. Strong side, cross draw, small or back?
5. Coke or Pepsi?
Obviously there are LOTS of considerations. Maybe if you describe what you intend to do with it, that will help folks to offer more specific suggestions.
Ultimately, it's like choosing a vehicle....your personal choice.
You will find folks here more than willing to give you suggestions and offer ideas as well.

Re: xdm 9
longtooth - thanks for the pm
lumberjack - Carry, not competition
Inside the belt
belly tuck under shirt and tie (about 50% of the time I wear coat and tie)
small of back
leather, it seems most comfortable
My only conceal carry experience is work related 25 years ago. Always was wearing a suit, carried two weapons, shoulder holster and ankle.
Thanks for taking your time to respond. It is appreciated.
God bless,

Rob,
I have the same pistol. I recently bought a Kholster. The holster is great and very comfortable. I worn it driving and walking for about two hours and it was never a problem. The gun fits very nice and the holster is adjustable for cant and high or low carry. The price is also right and their customer service is great, ordered on Thursday in my hand on Saturday. Check them out at http://www.kholster.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you decide to order use my code 071453. Put it in the "special instruction" box and it will save you 10%.

DM Bullard Leather in Azle can make you a fine concealment holster, UBG Holsters also has some really great (and reasonably priced) leather holsters I would recommend. Comp-Tac is another good company if you prefer kydex.

I have a Hoffner Hybrid ITP pro-2 Point Holster (iwb) for my xd-40 (use it for sub compact and tactical) and wear it all day and love it. It was not cheap ($130), but it fits great and works even better. I have worn it on long motorcycle rides and long drives. And added bonus it is made in Texas!!! There is my 2 cents.

The Bullard line is Texas made as well. I'm a Tarheel import but as the saying goes I got here as fast as I could. Proud Texas resident since 1985.
