I'm new to the forum but not to the CCW lifestyle. I've been carrying for about 3 years now, but my relocation to Texas requires me to get a new permit. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a CHL course near Del Rio. It's a border town in the SouthWest region. I think it's considered just the edge of Hill Country. The nearest large town is San Antonio at about 2 hours East. Can anyone recommend a class closer or should I just be looking into San Antonio more?

Also, should I start my paperwork now, or wait for the class and have the intsructor walk me through the process?
