They use semi-auto airsoft guns. Looks to be valuable training. I have to admit I've had a few encounters on the street, but have had nothing in the way of force-on-force training.

Has anybody else had any force-on-force training? Airsoft or Simunitions? How useful was it?

when I was with the Sheriff dept. we took this type of training and it has helped me thru my life. It helps me in watching for situation that I or my family don't need to get into and if so how to get out of it in the best way.


I would say if you have a chance you need to take this type of Course.

Nothing short of the real thing can take the place of Force-on-Force training. It is invaluable training. Going through an IDPA stage is fun and instructional, but going through a Force-on-Force shooting-house against an equally proficient adversary with simunitions is priceless.

We used them in the security forces when I had command of one. The training paid off.

I've had force-on-force training through the military and I have to say it really changed my perspective. Even though I knew they were only soap rounds, I couldn't believe the adrenaline rush and increased heart rate I felt. I can't imagine what it feels like to be involved in a real shooting scenario, but I feel that I'm 100x more ready than I was before the school.

through the military here also. Great training and the type of thing that changes you if you pay attention, and is very likely to make the difference between life and death for you and yours.

I haven't had Gabe's FoF class, but I give him high marks for his Close Range Gunfighting course.
