Now that Mrs. TraCoun is on the mend from knee replacement,
, I am going to be able to start scheduling NRA classes.
I have scheduled a session of Basic Instructor Training for 5/31/08, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in the Blue Building at PSC.
Please visit
www.argenttraining.com for details. Please let me know within a few days if you want to attend, as I have to order materials a couple weeks ahead of time.
I will be scheduling instructor discipline classes soon, and will post them here and on ArGent as soon as ...
Thanx,
TraCoun

I can't reliably remember the names right now, but there are three within just a few miles of the club. I'll try to let you know later.
I'll be looking forward to seeing you! As of right now I have up to 4 additional students, so we should have a good class.
Thanx,
TraCoun

melkor41: The two closest I'm familiar with are:
Holiday Inn Express Pearland
1702 N. Main Street, Pearland, TX 77581
Hampton Inn Houston Pearland
6515 West Broadway Street, Pearland, TX 77581
They're about the same price, but the one I've stayed at before, and found acceptable, was the Holiday Inn Express.
Google Maps can show you the easy drive from the hotel to the range. (
http://www.psc-range.com/).
From the Holiday Inn, you turn right onto Main (35) and head south to Moore Rd., where you'll take a left and go about a mile to Parkwood. Turn right and watch your left for the sign to the PSC turn-in; it's less than a half-mile. The arrow that Google marks as the street address is actually the entry drive. A few hundred yards down the drive is PSC. Zoom in on Google Maps in satellite mode and you'll get a great view of the grounds.

For proximity to PSC, also check out Webster, TX.
Motel 6, Best Western and a couple others.

Along Hwy 35, just a couple miles from PSC, there are 3 within a couple hundred yards:
Best Western, Alvin
Mainstay Inn
Comfort Inn
Some others are mentioned above.
