What would I need to bring to shoot IDPA?
I know my handgun, ear and eye protection, and concealment clothing,
but how many rounds of ammo is needed?
What about a flashlight?
What would I need to start?
Thanks

I generally bring 150 rds of ammo. But it can depend on the club and course of fire for that day.
You'll also want 3 to 6 magazines (or a similar number of speedloaders for a revolver)
Then there is the holster and magazine/speeloader carrier. The IDPA manual has a list of accepted ones. If you don't have one on the list, talk to the club to see if they'll let you use what you've got for the time being.
You shouldn't need a flashlight for IDPA.

Too-Tall,
We normally shoot 100-150 rounds in a match. The holster rules have changed in IDPA and you need to go to their web page to get the details. For now, at Thunder, just bring the holster and mag holders you have and we'll let you shoot (as long as they are strong-side, belt holsters).
Come on out and we'll get you through your first match, and make sure you have fun at the same time.
