NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Class
I will be hosting an NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading class in Conroe on May 15th. The class will begin at 8:30 and run for 8 hours. The class will consist of 4 hours of instruction followed by each student actually reloading ammunition. We will then go to the range and test fire the reloaded ammunition. The class costs $125 and includes class textbook, and the components needed do the reloading. If you are interested, please PM me or you can go to the NRA web page to register for the class.

Re: NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Class
I will host another class in late January. If anyone is interested, please PM me so I can send the details. Tentative date is for January 29. You will leave the class with a good basic knowledge of reloading, practical experience and 25 rounds of your personally loaded handgun ammunition.

SRVA,
I can't make it for the 29th, but would really like to go through this class. Do you have another session planned in the near future?

Re: NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Class
I attended Steve's metallic reloading class yesterday and had a great time and met some good people.
Steve presented the class in a fun and stress free manner that was full of concise explanation's for why thing's are done as they are in reloading in regard's to safety, reliability and operation's.
I left the class with some great SD loadsin 9x18 and feel totally confident I can screw my own loads up while doing it solo!!! lol...just kidding!
I do believe I have a good base to move forward and also will seek out further training from Steve.
I tinkered with reloading many years ago and found many things I had done wrong, the round's went bang then but...luckily my gun's didn't go "bang" also.
I would reccomend this class to all who would like to learn reloading but are unsure and tentative about the process.

Re: NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Class
DynaBlue and I attended the class yesterday as well. Very well done. We've now broken through our own personal hesitation, and are organizing things at home to get moving.
Unfortunately, there's another new expense item we'll now have to budget for (sigh).
