I only made the second day, it was at the Cypress Creek indoor shoot/fire house. The structure was a three bedroom two story with den ,kitchen hallways just like a real house. If you have not trained in this scenario then I suggest you do. Things happen much faster, and a good chance of getting shot. We worked on hostage and active shooter scenarios with mostly two man entries, but one man scenarios can be applied. We also worked on flashlight usage in the home and a couple of really good concepts came forth.
We also did a school scenario, this is really scary because in a panic the shooter can be lost amongst the group of children as a teacher while evacuating. Hallway intersection are hard to cover and you become tunnel visioned very quick especially when guns are going off and you have to find the shooter. Of course in schools you have much larger hallways but never the less distance is close.
We had close circuit TV with cameras all over and could review the scenarios.
Our host Richard Leider and the folks at Cypress creek FD are great
BTW the way this house is set up with fog machines and remote lighting control.

That sounds like a very educational real world scenarios. I'd love to do something like that. How much does it cost?

Re: Hoffners FOF shoot house review
This was the first class at this location, Hoff just recently got together with the CCFD. He also does this at impact zone where we have some cars to practice anti hijacking SOP. I wish he did more but he works full time as HPD senior firearms instructor and has been for over 20 years. He develops most all of HPD's programs.
He was also making handmade leather and leather /kidex holsters but has since retired, but not from a lack of business but lack of time. His company still make kidex stuff but its his employees, Maybe he will ramp up training this year. We will be doing a pistol moving shooter /moving target with remote controlled people in Victoria, its a fun class and will teach you what a bad aim you are real quick. Your running one way and the target is running side to side

Sounds very similar to the shoot house MAST was using for FOF training. It's awesome to train in a realistic setting like that.
FOF training is the best. If you haven't done FOF... you need to.
