Dick's 1/22-28/17: P22, PT111, SD9VE, SD40VE, Bodyguard, G43.

Dick's Sporting Goods ad, covering the dates of January 22-28, 2017, contains
the following 5 semi-automatic pistols for sale. There are no revolvers.
There was no Academy ad this week in the Sunday Dallas Morning Snooze.
The pistols are listed ascending by caliber.
Walther P22, .22LR, $249.98.
Smith and Wesson M & P (Military and Police) Bodyguard, .380 ACP, 6 + 1 rounds,
with Crimson Trace laser, $379.88.
Taurus PT111 Millenium, 9MM, 12 + 1 rounds, $249.98.
Glock G43, 9MM, 6 + 1 rounds, single stack, $449.98.
Smith and Wesson SD9VE (9MM) or SD40VE (.40 S & W), $299.98 for either caliber.

Does Dick's actually have the advertised items in stock? I remember several years ago they had ad's with decent pricings but when I got to the store the sales person explained all items in regards to the ad are already sold out.

I paid $429 out the door for my Glock 43 including transfer fee. Glock fans check out GT Distributors and look at the LE discount page. All first responders, armed security, volunteer firefighters, and more qualify for the discount.

FYI Academy doesn't always run a newspaper ad but they do post one on the internet.

I was in the Hill Country a few years ago. I saw a Dick's ad with the Ruger 10/22 at a nice price, so I made the drive. Bee Cave maybe. Sold out and they wouldn't give me a raincheck. I never went back.

Same with me. I went out of my way to go to a Dick's to purchase a 22-250 which was advertised at a good price. Very nice clerk apologized that they did not have or had never had the rifle.
