Looking for a decent quality .22 pistol. I cannot belive that I don't already have one. Now that my much better half has an interest in shooting I want one. Thanks.

I highly recommend the Smit and Wesson model 41. Definitely my all time favorite as far as a great target pistol goes. A little on the high side, but priceless when your Better Half is sending lead downrange.

I recently saw one at Bullet Trap for $600ish........or maybe it was GunMaster in Plano.....I forget.

Thanks AR. I saw the same one at Target Master. When I was buying those primers
. I was hoping that someone here might have a pistol that they would like to get rid of.
I didn't realize that they were that much new. Thanks for the link.

Well, if nobody pops in here with one they want to sell, last time I was looking over the consignment case at Bullet Trap, they had a couple of Ruger Mk IIs/IIIs in there, and I love my Mk III, so you might want to check those out. If you're interested in a revolver, there were several posts on another thread from people who love their Ruger Single Sixes as well, and I just priced one of those (new, of course) at Sporting Arms for not too much over $300.

S.S. G.,
Here's my suggestion.. The 22 pistol; is basically a practice/range pistil. Eventually she will graduate to something of her liking. My suggestion is why don't let her use the pistol pictured below for an indefinite period of time or until she finds what she really like.. It just sits in my safe and I use it if ever as a trainer range gun. Just give it back to me when you're done w/ it.. Just let me know if you want to use it.
It is a Colt 22 semi auto matic target pistol.

I have the same model of .22 as Reysc is offering. It is a great little pistol. I have used it to get started in bullseye shooting, and I am definitely not as accurate as the pistol, though some here might be. I wouldn't pass this great offer up without a darn good reason.
PS, my 7 year-old son has been shooting the Colt 22 since he was 6. It is a great pistol to start someone on a life-long love of firearms!
