Glock 19 version. I can't find one of these anywhere. Does anyone have suggestions?

Of note, you can buy a G17 version and trim back the grip to fit the G19 magazines. While not for everyone, it is just polymer. Careful work with a dremel can knock it our in not much time. Just another option if you run across the G17 model.Soccerdad1995 wrote:Glock 19 version. I can't find one of these anywhere. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks. I will keep this in mind. Unfortunately, I can't find any G17 models either, so this is kind of a moot point at the moment.goose wrote:Of note, you can buy a G17 version and trim back the grip to fit the G19 magazines. I don't see your location, but there is one listed in San Antonio. No affiliation with the seller.Soccerdad1995 wrote:Glock 19 version. I can't find one of these anywhere. Does anyone have suggestions?
Just above the mag release button on the left mine says G17/22 Mag and mine is a G17. I would assume the Glock 19 mods say G19/?.RossA wrote:So is there a stamp or something on the gun saying which model it is, or do you just have to try out different mags to see what fits?
Thanks. I will try that.maverick2076 wrote:Go to Academy. Ask for the gun people to search for it at other stores. They will find one in stock and have it transferred to your Academy for free. The transfer takes about 2 weeks, and they will call you to pick up your rifle.
So you have a sub 2k? You don't know if it is a 19 or a 17? See my response above at least for gen 2 versions. I can't speak about all hand sizes but I have a medium-small hand and the 17 version fits perfectly. I think the 19 for me would be short. I use Glock 17 and Glock 18 (33 rounders) in mine. All will fit in my Glock 26.RossA wrote:I don't own any Glocks, so I don't know the difference between the 17 and the 19. Why would one model of Sub 2K accept some mags but not others? I have a Glock mag Sub 2K, and some Glock mags for it, but I don't know whether they are 17 or 19. If I ever get more mags, it might be helpful to know which is which.
I can't find any markings on my Gen 1 except the caliber (40 S&W). I suppose if all else fails an email to Keltec with the serial number might get you the info.rotor wrote:So you have a sub 2k?
